                                    Warren Street - Hudson NY
Home to many Antique Shops, Boutiques, Cafes, Fine Restaurants & Bars
Located only two hours north of Manhattan, Hudson was a bustling major river port in the 18th & 19th centuries.  Hudson eventually became the third official port of entry to the United States and prospered until the economy and the city began to decline during the mid 20th century.  In the late 1980’s a resurgence occurred and interest in Hudson as a destination for fine antiques began to escalate.

Today, Hudson boasts a wonderful downtown shopping area with one-of-a-kind boutiques, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and yes, numerous fine antique shops.  Hudson is home to the American Museum of Firefighting and Olana, the Persian style residence of famed Hudson River School artist Frederic Edwin Church.  The arts are at home in Hudson with organizations such as The Hudson Opera House, Time & Space Ltd., Hudson Stage Works and Walking the Dog Theatre, not to forget the many art galleries and a host of activities and attractions throughout Columbia County, the Catskill Region and the Berkshires.
