 A 21-room Queen Anne Victorian,
built in 1900 as a
rectory, it served as a convent for the sisters of St. Mary's
Academy. Today the house is a treasure trove of doors,
woodwork, trim, moldings, locks, hinges, doorknobs, and
leaded glass panels. It features beautiful parquet floors
throughout the first and second floors, leaded glass,
stained  glass, an imposing mahogany stairway, five
fireplaces, pocket-doors and 10-foot ceilings. The interior
  is  spacious and welcoming; room palettes are relaxing;
furnishings are sophisticated yet comfortable. It’s all in a
rich architectural setting. The recent restoration of this
Victorian jewel has left all the original details intact.

          The B & B offers comfortable accommodations
conveniently located in historic Hudson, NY. Open year
round, the numerous antique shops, art galleries, boutiques,
the Hudson Opera House and fine restaurants on Warren
Street are just two short blocks away and historic sites
and museums are close by as are skiing, hiking, river boat
charters, and all that Columbia County and the neighboring
  Catskill Region have to offer.
